Set Up Web Hosting
A1 w9 ?6 {- @) u( ^0 N( MGetting an internet hosting account is beyond the scope of this guide, but a few things need to be said
( C2 O3 O1 `! u1 n# T8 P9 U) Fabout internet hosting. In general, you get what you pay for with hosting. When you use a shared
* x) |2 Z1 v4 Y2 V+ ^6 G3 ?host for PPV traffic, you are putting yourself at huge risk because your bandwidth is shared with
# _7 ]. b" W& ^/ x# Y" G( ewhoever else is on the same server as you.

enough that the visitor can't close the window before your pop up is even shown. You have about 3
( W( Z) ]/ d5 [: s3 i7 F" [seconds before the user can get that window shut. If your offer doesn't show in that time, tough luck." S1 ]. w- {9 J! M3 ]7 o' ? k
To explain the difference between types of hosting packages, picture a refrigerator (the server) in a
4 S/ P z' J l2 e2 n3 vhouse full of roommates (hosting customers).& Z$ F" R1 @. I! v* B
In shared hosting, this is like having roommates where everyone has no specific designated area inside

If you have less server resources to take advantage of, your ability to serve popups will slow down. For. C$ O5 Q. n- w
any type of hosting this is a bad thing, and especially while running PPV traffic.
3 \/ r. C; x5 `1 ?In the case of a virtual private server (VPS), everyone in the house has their own designated space
. C* C1 E- s7 X* _% n( R# S" sinside the fridge to put their food, and other roommates can't come into that space. The server is
" _6 N# e$ _5 A9 n- vpartitioned, so that each customer can only use a specific amount of resources at any given time.% D) Y% Q5 I2 @" c5 S1 P
A dedicated server would be like having the whole fridge to yourself. All of the server's resources
: ?! p9 A- I0 z. v0 H2 p% zbelong to you and no one else can use up those resources. This makes it possible to serve much more
+ M! \! }. C# a1 z7 J" Z6 |) ttraffic, faster.
% G. X- M5 U- ` p% K6 Z$ `9 P5 o. ^At the very minimum, you need a VPS to run PPV traffic, and at higher volumes, a dedicated server.
