: M9 w; [2 ^" ?/ ?9 u$ i3 gGetting an internet hosting account is beyond the scope of this guide, but a few things need to be said
2 S6 r( S4 @3 p7 Qabout internet hosting. In general, you get what you pay for with hosting. When you use a shared( d" g7 U2 I( N3 C8 ^& k: S, w

9 l5 b& P% W# c. Iwhoever else is on the same server as you.

7 L: N! n! S% U8 R/ C. W! p& J3 ^' ohouse full of roommates (hosting customers).
3 e# Y0 o8 f, ]; C& k6 n5 W. a4 LIn shared hosting, this is like having roommates where everyone has no specific designated area inside

2 }. [: T( ^5 J) G3 m9 m8 {If you have less server resources to take advantage of, your ability to serve popups will slow down. For5 `# _* E- [7 D- a& A$ }3 ]8 Q z R
any type of hosting this is a bad thing, and especially while running PPV traffic.; Z7 S; {) o6 Z) K8 w$ F
In the case of a virtual private server (VPS), everyone in the house has their own designated space7 p6 e1 q" T6 p. L- c; Y
inside the fridge to put their food, and other roommates can't come into that space. The server is
% I$ o$ J+ ?7 f* e y+ h) x/ u$ tpartitioned, so that each customer can only use a specific amount of resources at any given time.% j$ R3 n4 r$ G
A dedicated server would be like having the whole fridge to yourself. All of the server's resources7 {6 V" x/ h1 Q5 g3 _7 C7 p
belong to you and no one else can use up those resources. This makes it possible to serve much more$ h- ]% y3 x+ v
traffic, faster.# m3 @: q# b1 \3 Y) k
At the very minimum, you need a VPS to run PPV traffic, and at higher volumes, a dedicated server.
