How to Get Accepted into a CPA Network

You might not relish at the idea of someone grilling you about your internet marketing methods over J3 v5 [( ^3 e) T2 N* L

8 q" v8 r! }1 P. ?% R8 CGetting an internet hosting account is beyond the scope of this guide, but a few things need to be said
9 b/ Y+ h A2 @about internet hosting. In general, you get what you pay for with hosting. When you use a shared
6 Q" O, k& l- j- q2 F( phost for PPV traffic, you are putting yourself at huge risk because your bandwidth is shared with( Z, {4 j) Y# J5 g1 d/ h
whoever else is on the same server as you.
+ n" g4 _6 d1 ~- s; ~& CSpeed is the name of the game in PPV traffic. Your offers and landing pages need to pop up fast1 r7 ? J$ U' [" |6 w+ M$ I
enough that the visitor can't close the window before your pop up is even shown. You have about 3
3 z' W! U( P- o* K2 Yseconds before the user can get that window shut. If your offer doesn't show in that time, tough luck.
0 h M5 S) p5 C% W) p# fTo explain the difference between types of hosting packages, picture a refrigerator (the server) in a
9 ?0 N+ q9 T' _" _house full of roommates (hosting customers).1 O6 Q! S* M2 H2 }$ O* F
In shared hosting, this is like having roommates where everyone has no specific designated area inside1 G$ W- h3 i1 S* r; \9 X6 u; c
the fridge where they are supposed to put their food. Everyone just jams their food in however it will1 W$ q. G/ ^7 m/ R0 {7 {1 P
fit. a3 }$ M' ? ^$ f
Say your roommate brings home a large turkey. They will then take up more of the refrigerator than
' P/ L+ z- C, K# F- _the rest of the roommates, by virtue of simply needing more space and resources to accommodate
, y2 H. ?1 F7 q: ttheir food. Everyone else's food in the house has less space to take advantage of.: `: m6 t. K: y4 d; V- _# R
If you have less server resources to take advantage of, your ability to serve popups will slow down. For+ Y! W5 \- W- m2 Z- k
any type of hosting this is a bad thing, and especially while running PPV traffic.
: N- A5 |* N6 u8 E% V; TIn the case of a virtual private server (VPS), everyone in the house has their own designated space
2 |* A7 g3 S; H8 minside the fridge to put their food, and other roommates can't come into that space. The server is
1 q6 ]8 K$ ?8 ?* l' Epartitioned, so that each customer can only use a specific amount of resources at any given time.0 Z$ s, D1 b& q, G; l: l8 Z
A dedicated server would be like having the whole fridge to yourself. All of the server's resources+ ~+ l3 Y5 M( {. n! a* c& [1 Q2 [
belong to you and no one else can use up those resources. This makes it possible to serve much more
! K/ {/ \. k4 I6 n( F* x# U" J4 n Xtraffic, faster.
/ E3 I! E' |9 X9 `* O+ D2 KAt the very minimum, you need a VPS to run PPV traffic, and at higher volumes, a dedicated server.
