We are excited to announce that Route 53 DNS Failover now supports 8 |- _1 U$ P' y; K9 t, P$ u
Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) endpoints. Starting today, you can use , H( T% j( D2 h8 Z& K/ j
Route 53’s existing health checking and DNS failover features for 9 |, Y- X( L7 H. q! W7 M4 S' T
applications running behind an ELB, to increase redundancy and 3 M; U5 d0 N5 e
availability for these apps.
7 R0 J/ |3 Q: A& Z- i% z

failure, routes traffic away from the load balancer, and directs traffic 8 I( f D: O' m# T; d

on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), with Route 53 directing ' U4 f: N# q( E- K {2 h
