Facebook has sued Affiliate Marketer Martin Grunin, after closing upwards of 70 different fraudulent accounts by Grunin. According to the lawsuit, Grunin is a “serial offender who repeatedly violated Facebook’s terms and applicable law.” Facebook goes on to claim that Grunin defrauded Facebook, created deceptive advertisements on Facebook and even after a cease and desist, kept on doing this unethical and illegal behavior. Many of the ads, Facebook claims, were for “casual dating,” which seems to be another word for “大人/sex dating sites.” % r/ X- w6 e, J) Q$ P: p8 p

Facebook has taken this case very seriously, and did quite a bit of detective work, even going to other forms to find information about Grunin. Facebook says in the lawsuit, that Grunin was also involved in selling the Facebook accounts to other scammers, for as much as $30k. Facebook claims the people who bought these accounts had previously been also banned by Facebook. 9 u. H; I/ Z5 E8 Q1 ^" C

To create this account, Grunin is also being accused of impersonating employees of real companies — that were then billed for his fraudulent activities. He went as far to illegally hijack email accounts of marketing executives and falsify bank documents.+ h5 K. z2 z- Y; y# y+ }6 E0 _

Seems that Facebook was in contact with the NYPOST, which has written a short article about Grunin calling him a “Wannabe Wolf of Wallstreet.”" R8 M+ N8 ~1 t; b

Lawsuit is below for your reading pleasure. Expect if these charges are true, Facebook has already contacted law enforcement and Mr. Grunin will face arrest.
In most cases, marketers who use these tactics pay Facebook what’s owed and make money by selling the ad space for more than they spent, staying under the radar by paying their bills. Grunin apparently stopped paying his Facebook bills.
