In it you have a detailed article explaining how to make your living room brighter and detailed steps in how to do so. You also include a link to a solid lamp that will help you brighten up the room (your affiliate link).

You then go on to describe other ways to improve the home.

My experience is that google doesn't have a problem with it. The problem is when you don't provide value but instead just goes for the affiliate sale.

Yes. using a cloaker is the only way, but be warned, it is against G's policy and can get your account banned. Play safe.
