联想推出入门级ThinkStation E32 Haswell工作站
联想已经推出了一款新的工作站——ThinkStation E32——主要面向入门级的专业人士。ThinkStation E3采用了Haswell平台，并且提供60天的AutoDesk AutoCAD软件试用期。其将于9月6号开售，起价为729美元。ThinkStation E32提供两种型号：一种是传统的塔式机箱；另一种是更小巧的SFF形式。两种机型都将配备Intel Xeon E3 1200处理器(当然也可选酷睿i5或i7)、Nvidia Quadro K4000(塔式机型)或K600(SFF机型)。系统方面，其运行的是Windows 8专业版，并且经过了大量建模和设计软件的认证——包括SolidWorks、Adobe软件、PTC、以及Siemes PLM。由于配备了ECC内存，其还有助于减少工作站数据出错的可能.
thinkstation 还是不错的呀，虽然价格无法与组装机相比，但是我觉得稳定更为重要。。。。在国外，还可以享受4小时内上门服务。。爽歪歪

Lenovo has announced a new workstation, the ThinkStation E32 aimed at professionals who need an entry-level system. The ThinkStation E3 has Intel Haswell under the hood, and is being offered with 60-day trials of AutoDesk’s AutoCAD, indicating the type of buyers the company is targeting. The models will go on sale on September 6 starting at $729 USD.
The ThinkStation E32 is being offered in two models: a typical desktop tower, and a small form factor SFF offering. Both feature Intel Xeon E3 1200, which Lenovo says allows for “specialized modeling” for those in need of entry-level pricing. There’s options for fourth-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors as well, and NVIDIA Quadro K4000 in the tower/K600 in the SFF model.
The memory can go up to 32GB in either model, and both offer two USB 2.0 ports and six USB 3.0 ports. There’s no mention of video connectivity options for now, nor what kind of wireless options the system will offer. What is known is the software Lenovo will be shipping the units with, among them being a 60-day trial for AutoCAD.
The system runs Windows 8 Pro, and is certified for use with many modeling and designing programs, among them being SolidWorks, Adobe software, PTC, and Siemens PLM. There’s Error Correcting Code ECC memory to help reduce the odds of memory-centric issues, likewise lowering the odds of suffering an unfortunate loss of data.
Said Lenovo’s Director of Product and Vertical Marketing Rob Herman: “Modeling and design work can be extremely time intensive. Many design revisions and iterations take place, with data running in the background, to get to a final product. The ThinkStation E32 is a design workhorse, giving users workstation level performance and effortless productivity on a PC-sized budget.”

原来是河马来闹事了;P 俺做机械设计的，用DELL的Workstations也非常不错喔，联想的还没有用过呢。 小巧点好，这个桌子上都放不下了 haswell 省电费:lol 不错,有机会试试
